Spurs FA Cup Winners 1967 - Signed by Greaves, Mackay and Jennings
Limited edition Tottenham Hotspur print celebrating their victory in the 1967 FA Cup Final. This is a great piece of Spurs memorabilia, personally signed by three of the players who helped them to win the Cup - Jimmy Greaves, Dave Mackay and Pat Jennings.
Jimmy Greaves was indisputedly one of the greatest figures to dominate British football in the 1960s. His razor-sharp instincts on the football field helped him to establish an unassailable reputation with both Tottenham and England fans.
Dave Mackay, the 'Hardman' of Tottenham, had been brought south of the border by Bill Nicholson in his bid to assemble what was arguably the greatest club side ever to play in the English League. Mackay's supreme competitiveness, fearlessness and drive were second to none and led one journalist to quip that, "His tackling could have earned him a good living felling trees."
Pat Jennings was probably the greatest goalkeeper ever to play for Tottenham Hotspur. Jennings spent thirteen years at White Hart Lane, where he played in 472 league games for Spurs. As well as The FA Cup in 1967, he won the League Cup in 1971 and 1973, and the UEFA Cup in 1972. In 1973 the Football Writers' Association named him as its footballer of the year, three years later he won PFA's version of the award.
