Simply The Best - Boxing glove signed by Chris Eubank

As a boxer, Chris Eubank polarised public opinion as fiercely as he competed in the ring but few would disagree the former world champion was one of the best fighters Britain has produced in the last 100 years.

Born in south London in 1966, Eubank endured a troubled childhood and turned to boxing to give him a sense of purpose in life. It was to prove a wised decision and he was crowned the WBO world middleweight champion in 1990 after a famous victory over compatriot Nigel Benn.

He is, however, best remembered for his two classic fights with Michael Watson for the WBO world super-middleweight title. The first fight was held at Earls' Court in London and ended in a controversial points victory for Eubank.

The eagerly-anticipated rematch was held at Spurs' White Hart Lane and was just as captivating as both men fought themselves to a standstill. The bout sadly ended in tragedy with Watson slipping into a life-threatening coma after an upper cut in the 11th round and Eubank was left to reflect on a painful victory.

Eubank was never the same again after the Watson fight and although he continued to box until for another seven years, the fire had gone and he finally retired in 1998 with a record of 45 victories in 52 professional fights.

Own a piece of sporting history

Chris Eubank was one of the most naturally talented boxers of his generation and his iconic world title fights in the early 1990s were some of the most dramatic and enthralling bouts ever witnessed in England.

The glove is personally signed Eubank himself and is a unique piece of sporting memorabilia.

The glove is issued with a certificate of authenticity, signed by our managing director.
