Portugal 1966 World Cup Shirt - Signed by Eusebio
Eusébio da Silva Ferreira, known better as Eusébio and nicknamed "The Black Pearl or "The Black Panther", is one of the greatest players to ever grace a football field. Indeed Jack Charlton once said of the great Portuguese striker, "Eusebio was a truly great player, strong, beautifully balanced, and very quick, as good as Pele in my view and a more exciting player to watch."
He was born on January 25th 1942 in the Portuguese colony of Mozambique and went on to become the top scorer in the 1966 World Cup Finals, European Footballer of the year in 1965 and win countless championships with his Portuguese club side, Benfica.
At the 1966 World Cup Finals Eusebio was simply awesome. He scored nine goals in total, including four against North Korea on his way to securing the golden boot as the tournaments top scorer.
