Unbeaten Arsenal - Signed by 13 Highbury Invincibles
This print by acclaimed sports artist Gary Brandham is a celebration of Arsenal's unbeaten Premiership season in 2003/04 when Arsenal became the first team to go through a league season unbeaten since Preston acheived the feat in 1889/89. Arsenal won 26 and drew 12 of their 38 fixtures and scored 90 goals as they strolled to the Premiership title with Chelsea finishing in a distant second place.
During the previous season Arsene Wenger had stated that he felt Arsenal could go through the whole season unbeaten and was christened 'Comical Wenger' after their defeat following Wayne Rooney's last minute winner at Goodison Park. Wenger had the last laugh on those who compared him with the Iraqi Minister of Information walking around Highbury with a Comical Wenger T-shirt after their victory against Leicester City completed their unbeaten season.
