Leeds FA Cup Winners 1972 - Signed by Allan Clarke and Mick Jones
Leeds' historic 1-0 win against Arsenal in the 1972 FA Cup final was clinched by the formidable partnership of Allan Clarke and Mick Jones. From the moment Don Revie added Allan Clarke to his squad it was apparent that a chemistry had formed between the two players which proved intimidating in any one-to-one with a keeper. So, predictably, it was Jones who supplied the stunning cross for Clarke's winner against Arsenal. That one cherished goal brought Leeds their first FA Cup in the club's history and is still regarded by their fans to be their finest moment.
In a similar move to the one which brought the winning goal, Jones dislocated his shoulder during the final, and had to struggle up the steps to receive his medal from the Queen, before collapsing with pain shortly afterwards, depriving him of his full share of the glory.

In this wonderful, full-colour print of the team holding Captain Billy Bremner aloft clutching the FA Cup, Jones, who was so instrumental in securing the winning goal, is absent because he had dislocated his shoulder and collapsed in pain. For all Leeds fans this print is a 'must have', commemorating as it does, the club's most cherished moment.
