Jinky - Print signed by Jimmy Johnstone
Voted the greatest ever Celtic player by the club's supporters in a 2002 poll, Jimmy 'Jinky' Johnstone spent 13 glorious years at Parkhead and will forever and fondly be remembered as a Bhoys legend and one of the famous XI who lifted the European Cup in 1967.
Born in north Lanarkshire in 1944, Johnstone made his senior debut for Celtic at the age of 19. It was the beginning of more than a decade of Parkhead service on the wing and during his career with the club, the Hoops claimed nine Scottish league titles, four Scottish Cup and five Scottish League Cups.
He is, however, most famous for being a Lisbon Lion - one of Jock Stein's legendary team that made history in Portugal in 1967 when they upset the odds and beat Italian giants Inter Milan 2-1 in the final of the European Cup. No British side had claimed European football's greatest prize before Celtic.
Capped 23 times by Scotland, Johnstone played more than 300 league games for Celtic and scored 82 times before he left the club in 1975. He died in 2006 after suffering from motor neurone disease but will never be forgotten by football fans in Glasgow, Scotland and beyond.
