Boy at the Bridge - Chelsea print signed by Jimmy Greaves
Jimmy Greaves is arguably best remembered at club level for his nine seasons at White Hart Lane with Spurs but the England star began his career across London at Stamford Bridge and was just as prolific in the blue of Chelsea as the white of Tottenham.
A scorer on his Blues debut in 1957 as a 17-year-old, the striker finished as the club's top marksman in the league in both 1959 and 1961 and in 1960 he became the youngest ever player to score 100 league goals in English football at the age of 20 years 290 days.
Greaves scored an amazing 41 league goals in the 1960-61 campaign, which remains a club record, and it was not long before Europe's biggest clubs were knocking on Chelsea's door. In the end, he was lured away from Stamford Bridge by Italian giants AC Milan but left an incredible legacy of 124 league goals in 157 games for the club.
